WINDOW GARDENS

WINDOW GARDENS....
A boring window, a boring view....spice it up with your kitchen herbs and pot plants...

Rains are here...so the best and good  use is for the domestic plants...
Shelter them, tame them and see them grow at their BEST !
My favourites are the indoor plants and kitchen herbs but quite recently I have fancied to grow the domestic plants in my kitchen window...
DIY window balcony garden is in progress but I would like to share my ideas...

This is for our kitchens....this kind of setting really helps if you have a stinky view.

If there a possibility to extend your window by installing a temporary box then its the best window garden.

SEE HOW:

A Small grill made into box or a old fridge rack tied to the wall. What you really need is a bracket that can take load of around 6-7 kgs i.e 3to 4 pots, medium size.
REUSABLE MATERIALS - OLD FRIDGE RACK, OLD BUCKETS...etc

3 Peppers have very good ideas....I like it i.e curtain rods and buckets hung on it....

If you refer this pic, this how a total collection of plants should be ie.
CREEPER
FLOWERING PLANTS
SHRUBS
CROTONS

So whenever you are extending your window for this kind of arrangement externally, make sure you install a shade on it.

My personal window garden, which is easy to maintain and has very good results :
HYDROPONICS - please check my blog on it

Please comment with any of your personal suggestion.

My kitchen window garden is on its way so will be posting the DIY soon.
